Welcome to the start of your GCSE PE journey! Have you chosen to study PE at GCSE because you are interested in sports? Biology? Chemistry? Phycology and Sociology?  If so, you have certainly come to the right place!

Your GCSE PE course is all about understanding what is happening to your body as a result of sport at exercise. For example, you might have questions like: Why do I get sore muscles after exercise? Why do I feel nervous before a competition and how can I combat it? What is the best diet to have for sport? How does technology, the media and sponsorship influence how we view sport today?

This course delves deep into finding out the answers to these questions and so much more! The theory you learn from the classroom will also improve your performance on the sports field.
